Paid Time Off (PTO)

What is Paid Time Off (PTO)? Definition below:

”Paid Time Off (PTO) is time away from work in which an employee is still compensated.

A PTO policy typically includes sick, personal, and vacation time off. Unpaid, maternity, or leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act are not considered PTO.
