What is Employee Turnover?  Definition below:

Employee Turnover refers to the number of employees that leave an organization within a year.

While employee turnover refers to the amount of employees a company loses, it can be voluntary or involuntary. When a company decides to terminate an employee, it is considered an involuntary turnover. This may be caused by performance or behavior issues.  On the other hand, voluntary turnover refers to when the employee chooses to leave the organization. Voluntary turnover typically occurs when an employee finds a better employment opportunity. The rate of employee turnover is affected by many factors, such as industry type, location, and size of a company.
