What is Absence Management?  Definition below:

Absence Management refers to an HR department's plan to manage employee leave. The impact of an employee's leave, due to sickness or injury, can be minimized by having guidelines and return-to-work plans in place.

Companies can also track absence trends in order to identify and manage potential issues.
